Holidays

Holidays are popular among students, with girls and lads holiday being the most popular choice. For this reason we have focused on holiday resorts that appeal more to the students looking for a party destination.

Greece, Zante (Zakynthos)

Average temperature over summer: 27º

Zante is amazing for a student girls/lads holiday. It's renowned for being one of the most popular party destinations for young adults and students. As costs are low this is the perfect destination for students on a budget! Experience the ultimate party experience for a low price.

Attractions

Navagio Beach (Shipwreck Beach)

Despite being such a small beach and containing an abandoned old rusty ship, this beach is a fascinating tourist attraction and with good reason. The sea is an exquisite shade of turquoise and the beach is beautiful. Read reviews for yourself, many claim this is the most pretty beach in the world. It does cost to visit this beach as you have to go by a ship or boat cruise. The experience is well worth it. Although do take note sometimes the sea can get pretty wild and if the sea is violent you cannot swim in the water. The beach and sea are a thing of pure beauty and combined with a little swim can prove to be a sensational experience.

Levante Speedboat Excursions

Voted #1 for boat tours in Zakynthos, do I need to say much more? Captain Spiros will go that extra mile with your boat trip to ensure you have en eye-opening experience, with your safety a priority of the trip. Make the most of your experience whilst in Tsilivi and go on the shipwreck trip, visit the Keri caves or even go Turtle spotting. You won't be disappointed. Don’t be afraid to bring your kids along to these trips. All children will be fitted with life jackets to give you that extra comfort that they are safe. That way you can sit back and take hundreds of pictures of an unforgettable experience.

Oceanic Chillout Bar

Need to wind down after a few consecutive nights of vodka and fast food? This is your perfect spot, located in Kalamaki. Kev, the owner is well known by returning customers. His kind of loyalty and friendliness is just why people return year on year. You will often find customers recognising each other if not by name but by sight. Customer loyalty at the Oceanic bar is phenomenal.

Blue Caves

Another picturesque sight which is a must-see when visiting Zante. You can pick up 2 tickets for €35 for 3 hour tours to see both the Blue Caves and the shipwreck beach, from some stalls – more bargains for you students! You’re led in a small group on a small boat so you can navigate inside the caves and see what beauty beholds. We highly recommend this if you enjoy the scenic days out between partying.

Places to Eat

Anadalis

Located in Argassi this is a really distinctive restaurant. They offer traditional Greek food with a Mediterranean twist. Book a table, order plenty of cocktails and enjoy a relaxing meal by the sea. This restaurant is a huge hit with the locals which speaks for itself.

Votsalo Taverna

If you are a strong believer of reviews speaking the truth then indulge in the vast amount of 5* reviews for this restaurant. Although it has a concise menu each meal is presented and cooked to perfection. This combines with a gorgeous view over Laganas bay for an enjoyable experience.

Clubs (Laganas)

Laganas is the resort where all the party animals flock to, and with good reason. Home to some of the most entertaining clubs in Europe, the party's still well in full swing at early hours of the morning. So if you’re used to finishing a night at around 11pm this destination is not for you! Rescue Club is one of the biggest hits for groups of students. And if girls dancing in cages, massive party nights and one-of-a-kind fire shows sounds like fun to you then you need to head over thereAnother number 1 destination for all students is the infamous Zeros Club, known for being the best super club in Zante. It will blow your mind and leave you stumbling home with a smile on your face. They run non stop events throughout summer. This is a different experience which many young students might not take a fancy to. Although we would recommend going yourself and seeing how fun it can be. You can relax by the beach front with a cold beverage and watch fellow tourists attempt to surf on the surf simulation machine. Sounds like more fun than your usual poolside drink during the day.

Places to Eat

Foxy’s

Good cocktails, milkshakes and food accompanied by chilled house music is all you need when enjoying a nice meal on your day off the drink. Has a great up-beat feel to it so this is the perfect place to go to get some food and drinks before you head to the strip for a vodka-infused night.

Tom Brown’s

Great place for a more casual venture out, lovely view on the sea front and friendly staff help to make this experience tranquil. Take your pick from their 3 different restaurants depending on your taste. The 'beach' restaurant is the peaceful option. The 'in the town' restaurant has a 18-hole crazy golf course on it. The third choice is the 'sports bar' great for groups of students.

Pirates Beach Bar & Grill

Brilliant all-round bar with fast service and great food and drink. It’s worth trying to get a seat in front of the open grill as this can be quite entertaining to watch. Definitely a great place for a bunch of students on a girls/lads holiday to go prior to a night out.

Clubs

BCM Planet Dance

Get stuck in and attend one of the popular foam parties, UV parties or even washing machine parties.

Ibiza, Spain (Balearic Islands)

Average temperature over summer: 28º

Undoubtedly the most prolific and fulfilling party resort in Europe! With new promoters taking over each club and bringing their very own unique music, style and event you will always find something that you love. Ibiza is truly a spectacular place and with over 25 popular clubs it’s hard to see most of what Ibiza has to offer in just a week so we recommend committing to a savings plan and booking for around 10 – 14 nights.

Attractions

Es Vedra

This is a must for the sightseeing student interested in more than just the incredible nightlife in Ibiza. This is a mysterious little island which you can only visit via boat trips although it’s a magical place well worth a boat trip. The mountains are beautiful to look at so if you aren’t keen on a boat trip you can always drive close enough on the main island and have a look.

Cala Comte

This beach is spectacular and is actually 2 in 1. Both offering a unique experience, the main and largest is most popular and usually accommodated by families and tourists – due to the restaurants close by. Although you can make your way through to Calla Bassa via some precarious steps, leading you to a small cove where you can sunbathe naked. There’s also a bar down there which is a great way to relieve some of the heat.

Liquido Cocktail Bar

Contrast to the super clubs below this is a cocktail bar with a difference, playing a distinctive array of Northern Soul music. Great cocktail bar for a more chilled night, with a lovely view over the marina. The perfect way to have a few quieter drinks before hitting the strip.

Located in the heart of Playa d’en Bossa, this club is a massive hit in Europe. From the first club opening in Manchester this is where the huge reputation began. Sankeys Ibiza is renowned for hosting the hugely popular hosting parties to get everyones summer kicked off. Although, if you missed out on Sankeys Ibiza then it’s well worth attending the club in Manchester for a packed-out but memorable night.

Space

Located in Playa d’en Bossa across from Ushuaïa, Space has won awards for the best club in the world and it will only take you one night there to see just why. Expect to pay around €25-€50 for tickets to a party at Space depending on which event you choose. But it’s well worth it if you want to experience the true entertainment of a super club.

Ibiza Rocks

Year on year the Colada Club hosts Ibiza Rocks parties every Tuesday for 15 weeks. They gather a range of top-class DJs and producers to provide clubbers with a refreshing experience. Expect something a little different at the Colada Club as you’re served cocktails with umbrellas, a range of great music often enjoyed in the sun or on a large pink inflatable flamingo in the jam-packed pool. As the sun goes down the volume turns up and Ibiza Rocks goes out with the sun beds and in with the dance platforms and neon lights.
